When Surgery
Isn’t the Answer.
Advanced healing for joints, tendons, and tissue.
You’ve been told to rest it. You’ve been told to live with it. You’ve been offered cortisone, and when that stopped working, you were offered surgery. There’s a middle path — and for the right candidate, it works.
Who This Is For
Who This Is For.
Regenerative medicine isn’t a silver bullet, and it isn’t for everyone. But for the right candidate, it can close a gap that nothing else can.
01
Chronic Joint Pain
Knee, shoulder, hip, or elbow pain from osteoarthritis, tendinopathy, or overuse that hasn’t responded to standard care.
02
Tendon Injuries
Tennis elbow, golfer’s elbow, achilles, patellar, rotator cuff — stubborn tendon injuries that just won’t heal.
03
Post-Injury Recovery
Athletes and active adults recovering from soft tissue injuries who want to accelerate healing and return to sport stronger.
04
Surgery Alternatives
Patients who’ve been told surgery is the next step — but want to explore every other evidence-based option first.
What We Do Differently
Precision Over
Prescription.
Regenerative medicine only works when it’s matched to the right condition, applied to the right tissue, and supported by the right rehab. At PPW, we don’t do regenerative injections in isolation — they’re part of an integrated plan that includes physical therapy, movement retraining, and load progression. That’s why our patients see results where cookie-cutter clinics fall short.
“The best injection in the world won’t help if the movement pattern that caused the injury is still there. We treat the whole system.”
— Dr. Alberto Florez, PT, DPT · PPW Co-Founder
Thorough Candidacy Assessment
Regenerative therapy isn’t right for every injury. We evaluate your imaging, mechanics, and history to determine if it’s the right tool — and tell you honestly if it’s not.
Integrated Rehab Plan
Every regenerative protocol is paired with a physical therapy plan. You’re not just getting an injection — you’re getting the movement work that makes it last.
Evidence-Based Protocols
We use PRP and advanced regenerative approaches with documented efficacy for specific conditions. No pseudoscience, no overpromising.
Coordinated Recovery
Your PT, performance coach, and medical provider work from the same data. When one part of the plan changes, the rest adapts.
What to Expect
How It Works.
Most regenerative protocols involve one to three treatments spaced out over weeks, with rehab running alongside. Here’s the typical journey.
01
Consultation
A thorough evaluation of your injury, imaging, history, and goals. If regenerative therapy isn’t the right fit, we say so and point you to what is.
02
Treatment Plan
If you’re a good candidate, we build a treatment plan: injection schedule, rehab programming, activity modifications, and expected timeline.
03
Procedure & Rehab
PRP or advanced regenerative injection performed on-site. Rehab begins immediately with your DPT — healing without movement is stiffness waiting to happen.
04
Return to Performance
We guide you back to full activity in stages — testing thresholds, progressing load, and making sure you’re not just healed but stronger than before.
Conditions We Treat
What We Address.
Not an exhaustive list — if you’re dealing with something related, ask us. Our consultation is the right place to figure out if we’re a fit.
Knee Osteoarthritis
Mild-to-moderate knee OA where injections and rehab can delay or avoid joint replacement.
Rotator Cuff Issues
Partial tears, tendinopathy, and impingement conditions that have plateaued with standard care.
Tennis & Golfer’s Elbow
Chronic lateral and medial epicondylitis that has resisted rest, bracing, and standard injections.
Patellar Tendinopathy
Jumper’s knee and chronic patellar tendon issues limiting athletic performance.
Achilles Tendon Issues
Chronic achilles pain that hasn’t responded to eccentric loading or standard PT.
Hip Conditions
Hip OA, labral issues, and chronic hip pain in active adults who want to stay active.

Stuart Riggins
FNP · Co-Founder · Medical & Regenerative
“Regenerative medicine isn’t magic. It’s biology — applied to the right patient, the right tissue, with the right rehab. That’s where the results come from.”
Stuart leads PPW’s regenerative medicine program, working directly with our PT team to ensure every patient gets both the procedure and the rehab plan that makes it stick. His clinical standard is candor: if regenerative therapy isn’t the right tool, he says so.
Common Questions
Frequently Asked
Questions
What is PRP and how does it work?
PRP (platelet-rich plasma) uses your own blood, concentrated to isolate the platelets and growth factors that drive tissue healing. That concentrate is injected into the injured tissue to stimulate a targeted healing response. It’s your biology, amplified.
Does it hurt?
The injection itself feels similar to other musculoskeletal injections. Most patients describe the first 24–48 hours afterward as sore or stiff — that’s the healing response activating. Over-the-counter pain relief is usually sufficient, though we’ll advise on what to avoid.
How many treatments will I need?
It depends on the condition, severity, and tissue type. Many tendon and joint conditions respond well to a single treatment; others require a series of 2–3 spaced weeks apart. We map out an expected plan during your consultation.
When will I see results?
Regenerative therapy works through a healing cascade that takes time. Most patients notice improvement at 4–6 weeks, with continued gains at 3–6 months as tissue remodels. It’s not an overnight fix — it’s durable healing.
How is this different from cortisone?
Cortisone reduces inflammation and masks pain but can weaken tissue long-term. Regenerative therapies aim to support actual healing, not just quiet the symptoms. Cortisone has its place; so does regenerative care. The goal is to match the tool to the problem.
Is regenerative therapy covered by insurance?
Most regenerative procedures aren’t covered by insurance. We’re a cash-based practice but can provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement where applicable. HSA and FSA accepted; Practice Better financing available.
