It Matters.
Periodized, data-driven, and built around your sport.
Most training programs are generic templates wearing a coach’s name. PPW programming is different. Every athlete gets a plan built for their sport, their season, their physiology, and their goals — with coaches who coordinate directly with our PT and medical teams so training and recovery always move in the same direction.
Who This Is For
Who This Is For.
From a 9-year-old learning how to move well to an adult athlete trying to extend their competitive window — the work is individualized but the principles stay the same.
01
Youth Athletes
Ages 8 and up. Mechanics before max effort. Building a movement foundation that will pay dividends through adolescence and beyond.
02
High School
In-season and off-season programming for competitive high school athletes — sport-specific, recruitment-focused, and built to handle the academic load.
03
Collegiate & Pro
Programming that coordinates with your existing strength coaches, respects your competition calendar, and closes gaps your team program can’t.
04
Adult Competitors
Weekend warriors, masters athletes, CrossFitters, runners, and lifters who want performance programming with clinical backing.
What We Do Differently
Programming,
Not Guessing.
Great training is the product of individualized assessment, honest goal setting, periodized progression, and measurable outputs. Our coaches build around each athlete using force and velocity data, movement testing, and the same information your PT and medical provider are seeing. When training plateaus, we know why. When training has to change because of an injury or a competition, it changes intelligently. That’s what our athletes are paying for.
“Youth athletes come in because parents want mechanics locked in early. Adults come in because they’re done wasting time on programs that weren’t built for them. Both get the same rigor.”
— Alberto Florez, PT, DPT · PPW Co-Founder
Individual Assessment
Every athlete starts with a full performance assessment — movement, strength, power output, and sport-specific testing. That’s the baseline your plan is built from.
Periodized Programming
Blocks built around your competitive calendar, your adaptation curves, and your goals — not a generic 4-week template that resets for everyone the same way.
Coordinated With PT
When you have an injury or restriction, your coach and DPT talk directly. No contradictions between training and rehab — they’re the same plan.
Measurable Progress
Force plate, velocity, and performance data tracked session over session. You know exactly what’s improving — and when it’s time to change direction.

02
Assessment
Full performance assessment with testing data that becomes your baseline. For remote athletes, we have protocols you can complete at your home gym.
03
Program Built
Your individualized periodized plan. In-person athletes train at PPW with their coach; remote athletes receive daily programming and weekly check-ins.
04
Test. Adjust. Progress.

Common Questions
Frequently Asked
Questions
At what age can my child start training?
We start formal programming at age 8 in most cases — some younger kids are ready for movement-focused work earlier. The emphasis for young athletes is always quality of movement, coordination, and gradual exposure to load — not max-effort strength work.
Do you work with my child’s sport?
Very likely. Our coaches have worked across baseball, football, volleyball, basketball, soccer, track, wrestling, tennis, and more. During your eval we’ll discuss the sport-specific demands and how our programming addresses them.
What’s the difference between personal training and performance training?
Personal training is typically session-to-session, fitness-focused, and built around workouts. Performance training is periodized, goal-driven, and built around measurable output improvements — with testing and data as core parts of the plan.
How often should I train?
It depends on your sport, your season, and your goals. Most athletes train 2–4 times a week with us, complementing team practice or independent work. We calibrate frequency to what actually drives progress.
Is remote training as effective as in-person?
For the right athlete, yes. Remote programming gives you the same individualization and weekly coaching — you just execute sessions on your own. It works best for athletes with access to a well-equipped gym and the discipline to train independently.
Can I combine performance training with physical therapy?
Yes — and it’s one of the biggest advantages of training at PPW. Your coach and DPT share notes, which means post-injury return is smoother and in-season maintenance is smarter.
