Who This Is For

Who This Is For.

Pelvic floor PT is for anyone whose pelvic region is getting in the way of how they want to live — during sport, after pregnancy, or in daily life.

01

Postpartum

New and returning moms navigating healing, diastasis recti, pelvic pain, leaking, or prolapse. At 6 weeks postpartum or 6 years — it’s never too late.

02

Female Athletes

Runners, lifters, CrossFitters, and athletes managing leaking, pelvic heaviness, or return-to-sport confidence after injury or pregnancy.

03

Active Adults

Women and men dealing with incontinence, pelvic pain, bladder urgency, or constipation that’s affecting quality of life.

04

Pre- & Post-Surgical

Patients preparing for or recovering from pelvic, abdominal, or orthopedic surgery where pelvic floor health plays a role.

What We Do Differently

Specialized Care.
Zero Embarrassment.

Pelvic health is a niche for a reason — it requires specialized training, a careful environment, and a provider who treats these concerns with complete respect and discretion. Dr. Cambern does this work all day. Your session is private, one-on-one, and paced to your comfort. Internal assessment is only used when it’s clinically indicated and only with your full consent. Most patients are surprised by how much can be accomplished externally.

“Most of my patients tell me they wish they’d come sooner. There’s a long gap between ‘something feels off’ and ‘I deserve to have this addressed.’ I’m here to close it.”

— Dr. Ariel Cambern, PT, DPT · Pelvic Floor Specialist

01

Dedicated Specialist

Dr. Cambern treats pelvic floor patients as her specialty — not as an add-on to general PT. Depth of expertise, applied one patient at a time.

02

Private Treatment Room

Your session takes place in a private treatment room. Quiet, dignified, and built for the kind of care this work requires.

03

Athlete & Performance Lens

We treat pelvic floor health as part of total athletic performance. Return-to-lift, return-to-run, and return-to-sport are core parts of what we do.

04

Integrated With PPW

When your pelvic health intersects with hormone shifts, injury rehab, or performance training — you’re already in a system where everyone talks to each other.

What to Expect

How It Works.

Every patient’s path is different, but the framework is consistent — thorough assessment, clear plan, paced progression, and a defined endpoint.

01

Consultation

A private consultation with Dr. Cambern to understand your history, symptoms, and goals. No internal assessment at this visit — just a conversation.

02

Full Assessment

Comprehensive evaluation of movement, breath, posture, and — where indicated and with consent — a pelvic floor assessment. We move only at your pace.

03

Treat & Progress

One-on-one sessions combining hands-on work, breath and posture retraining, pelvic floor coordination, and progressive strength and loading.

04

Return Stronger

A clear path back to the activities you want — running, lifting, sex, daily life — with tools to keep the progress you’ve made.

“Pelvic health issues have been dismissed for too long as ‘just part of being a woman’ or ‘just part of having kids.’ They’re not. They’re treatable. Let’s treat them.”

Dr. Cambern leads pelvic floor physical therapy at PPW with specialized training and a focus on athletes and active adults. She works with postpartum patients, competitive athletes, and men and women managing conditions the rest of the medical system too often overlooks — always one-on-one, always with discretion.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked
Questions

What happens at the first visit?

Your first visit is a conversation and external assessment. We walk through your history, current symptoms, and goals. There’s no internal assessment at the first visit — we focus on building comfort and understanding before anything else happens.

Will I need an internal exam?

Internal assessment is one clinical tool, used only when it provides information we can’t get externally, and only with your full informed consent. Many patients achieve excellent outcomes with external work alone. This is entirely your call — your comfort is the priority.

When can I start postpartum?

Most OBs clear postpartum patients for PT at 6 weeks, but you can start earlier with the right provider for education, breath work, and gentle rehabilitation. Whether you’re 6 weeks, 6 months, or 6 years postpartum — it’s not too late.

Can athletes be treated for pelvic floor issues?

Absolutely. Female athletes are a big part of Dr. Cambern’s practice — runners, lifters, CrossFit competitors, and field-sport athletes. Leaking with jumping isn’t a normal part of being an athlete; it’s a signal that something can be improved.

Do you treat men?

Yes. Men experience pelvic floor issues too — post-prostate surgery, chronic pelvic pain, and athletic pelvic health concerns. Dr. Cambern works with male patients regularly.

How many visits will I typically need?

Many patients see meaningful change within 4–8 visits, with some more complex cases requiring longer. During your evaluation, Dr. Cambern will give you a realistic expectation based on what’s going on.
